About

Helsinki Synthetic is a nonprofit event bringing together synthesizers, electronic music and likeminded people. The event takes place on Saturday, 29th of April at Kellohalli in Teurastamo, Helsinki, and is free of charge and open for everyone. Doors open at noon and close at midnight.

In the daytime synth meet, you can bring your own synths, drum machines, samplers and effects boxes for display, give the instruments others have brought a spin, and try out brand new gear at sponsor booths. Bring your own headphones! Check out the ever updating event gear list and let us know via e-mail in case you want to bring your own gear. Oh, and there will be public talks and demos running for the whole day, see program.

Or, even if the idea of a hall full of synths doesn't thrill you, join the fun in the evening to hear some superb local electronic acts, and have a drink with us!

There is also an official Facebook event for up-to-date news and information.

Helsinki Synthetic 2017 is brought to you by volunteers from Turun Syntetisaattoriseura (Synthesizer Association of Turku) and our generous sponsors.

You can get to Kellohalli best by public transport, taking the metro to Sörnäinen or Kalasatama, or by taking the buses 16 or 55. You can check timetables and connections with Reittiopas. For those of you bringing bigger gear to the event by car, we have a limited number of parking spots reserved on the area, and daytime parking on the streets should be free on Saturdays.
